In collaboration with JAVDES, DPM TECH developed an advanced four-legged "robot dog" equipped with an ultra-lightweight Kinova Gen3 robotic arm and adaptive gripper to support Türkiye’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams. By integrating Kinova’s precise manipulation technology, the system significantly increases operational capabilities, ensures greater risk mitigation, and enhances safety for personnel during critical security and judicial investigations.

The Challenge

 

DPM TECH ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES is supporting specialized intervention teams who are routinely exposed to dangerous environments involving explosives, crime scenes, and disaster zones. The solution, featuring the Kinova arm, was developed to enhance safety and efficiency in these high-risk operations and is a powerful tool for safe, remote operations in hazardous areas.

The Solution

 

DPM TECH developed advanced quadruped robots, referred to as "robot dogs", equipped with Kinova Gen3 robotic arms with adaptive grippers. The platform is equipped with the ultra-lightweight Gen3 robotic arm from Kinova with adapative gripper , which delivers a powerful tool for safe, remote operations in hazardous areas. The Kinova arm's function on the explosive ordnance reconnaissance and intervention robot allows operations to be conducted from a secure distance, reducing the need for personnel to directly intervene in high-risk
